私の名前はYです。日本の大学に通っています。
My name is Y and I’m 19 years old.I am a university student in Japan.
なぜバギオを選びましたか？
Why did you choose Baguio City to study English?
バギオは気候が涼しくて過ごしやすいと知ったからです。
また、バギオで英語を学ぶ人はまじめな人が多いと知り、私は他人に流されやすいので良い環境になるのではと思ったからです。
The climate is comfortable.I heard that many people who study English in Baguio can easily focus on their academics, and I thought it would be a good environment for me because I am easily influenced by others.
実際に過ごしてみてバギオについてどう思いますか？
What do you think about Baguio?
タクシーがたくさん走っているので移動に困らず、タクシーの運転手がとても親切でバギオの方々の人の良さが表れていると思いました。またSMモールや学校の近くにスーパーマーケットやカフェなどがあるので、日用品の買い出しや友人とリフレッシュするには十分だと思います。
There are many cabs in the area, so I had no trouble getting around, the drivers are friendly and hospitable.
There are supermarkets and cafes near SM mall and the school, enough to buy daily necessities and hang out with friends!

日本人比率の低さと小規模の学校というところで選びました。また無料のオプションクラスがあるところにも惹かれました。
I chose this school because of its small size and low ratio of Japanese students.I was also attracted by the free optional classes.
A&Jでの印象に残っている思い出はありますか？
What are your memories in A&J academy?
最初の授業では聞き取れないことや返事をすることができないことが多かったです。もちろん今でもできない時はありますが、以前と比べれば良くなったと思います。また休み時間に他の生徒たちと近くのカフェでドリンクを買うなど、日本ではやらないことだったので、とても新鮮でした。週末には他の生徒たちやルームメイトの方と一緒にダウンタウンや観光地などに行ったり、ナイトマーケットに行って0時に寮に戻るなどとても楽しい思い出です。
In the first class, I couldn’t hear or respond to many things, but I feel I have improved compared to before. It was a fresh experience for me to do something I would not have done in Japan, such as buying drinks at a nearby cafe with other students during break time. On weekends, I enjoyed going sightseeing and going to night markets with my roommates and other students.

What can you say about the teachers of A&J academy?
先生たちはとても親切で言いたいことがうまくまとめられず沈黙が長くなった時は忍耐強く待ってくれますし、文法が成り立っていない時は改めて聞き返してくれます。また、教科書の内容がわからない時は理解できるまで噛み砕いて教えてくれました。
The teachers were very kind and patient with me when I had trouble summarizing what I wanted to say and there were long periods of silence, and when I had grammar lapses, they would correct me.If I didn’t understand something in the textbook, they would explain it to me until it will be clear.

Can you give some comments about A&J Academy?
少人数が好きで学習と遊びを切り替えて英語を学びたい人におすすめです。マンツーマンで教科書もレベルに合わせたものになるので、短期間でも英語の伸びを実感することができると思います。
